So basically what I’m trying to say, is that the code should output heads / tails randomly. Write a code to give the outcome of a coin flip. I think an example should better explain this statement. That is, any program is designed to progress forwards and it can’t be instructed to go backwards and run the loop again whenever necessary (or at least that’s what we think for now ?). Any loop can be stopped in between using BREAK, before it reaches the desired number( in case of FOR loop) or desired condition (in case of WHILE loop).īut the problem with loops is that once they are executed, they cannot be executed again. Or it can be asked to repeat until you get happy (← that is, until it satisfies a given condition in the WHILE loop). The code inside the loop can be asked to repeat for a particular number of times, for example the FOR loop. Loops are useful when you have to do a task over and over again. How do we decide which one to use ? Loops So, you find out online that it can be done either by using loops or functions or both. That’s because it makes the program lengthy and also we are not good typers (that’s me ??).

Obviously, we don’t have to type the lines again. We write pieces of code that needs to be executed multiple times. Delicate difference between Loop and Function in Matlab
